Rob Oaks has worn many hats over his 20+ years as an IT professional. Before joining Unirisx as CTO, he spent seven years as the CEO and lead architect for Oaks|Design, a consulting company that specialized in domain-driven design, an agile methodology that makes complex development efforts more focused and dynamic. Prior to his experience at Oaks|Design, Mr. Oaks was a senior architect at Omicron Consulting, the CTO of KnowledgeFlow, and the CEO, lead architect, and lead developer at Silver Oak Systems, a company that developed security products for the education market. Mr. Oaks believes that the strategic effectiveness of technical leaders is predicated on cultivating deep technical acumen sustained by an unwavering love of technical challenges. Many years of experience and observation have only deepened this conviction.
